iPhone X
Possibly the much-anticipated device for this event, Apple officially unveiled its special 10-year anniversary iPhone device, the iPhone X. Starting from $999 the new iPhone with a completely overhauled design packs the new A11 bionic chip that accelerates device performance and battery life, a facial recognition technology called as Face ID, along with several new features and a cute little "Notch" at the top!
FACE ID: HOW MUCH SECURE?
The new Notch on the iPhone X pack some really cool tech in it for a new exclusive biometric authentication system "Face ID". The notch has an infrared camera that captures the pattern of approx 30,000 dots projected on the user's face via flood illuminator and then matches the pattern to the already stored user's face pattern on the phone's chip. If you don't have an identical twin, the risk of a random face unlocking your phone is 1 in 1,000,000 according to Apple.
Apple took several precautions in developing this system to make sure it is secure and accurate. Apple has stated the following:
- High-end masks can't fool it
- Printed photos of a face can't fool it
- Videos of a face can't fool it

The iPhone X comes in two colors: space gray and silver. It’ll come in two storage configurations — 64GB for $999, and 256GB for a whopping $1,149. Preorders will start on October 27th, with shipping set to start on November 3rd.
Considering the fact that this year's iPhone isn't much special except the fact of a new processor and Face ID authentication, we don't think it is worth it to spend a hefty amount of cash just for upgrading your existing iPhone for the new one. But we will surely see what is the response of public once it is launched worldwide.
