Upcoming WhatsApp changes soon expected to be released


WhatsApp is one of the the most popular Instant messaging apps in the world far ahead of other messengers like Hike, Line, Telenor etc. WhatsApp has gathered many news headlines recently from video calling to shutting down is services for old phones after 31st December 2016. Here are the top upcoming features based on some reports that may be soon released into public.

1. Group location sharing.




According to @WABetainfo , a Twitter handle that leaks all the upcoming features in an app by scraping up the code, has said that there is a live location sharing feature in WhatsApp for both iOS and Android.

Leaked screenshots of the beta app show that this feature will be disabled by default and since it will be available on both iOS and Android at some point in the future, it will be very helpful if you’re trying to see the location of someone who is on a different platform.

2. More control on Statuses 


According to some speculations WhatsApp will soon give us users more control over their and make it easy to view their friends status by adding a seperate status panel. 

Users will also be given option to new Status Alerts, new Privacy options for your Statuses, the ability to forward status updates, delete status updates and see which status updates you shared. 

3. Many new UI changes


WhatsApp will also add vCard support, the ability to share multiple updates and  also you can now save your saved photos and videos to the Saved Photos folder,  and improvements to the search UI and increase in the media share limit to 30 MB. Most of these features are hidden in the app and not activated yet, but should appear in new beta versions soon.
