Moto G5 leaked specifications

The Moto G5 Plus (XT1685) was run through utility GPUz, which came up with specs for the device that confirm what we were told earlier this month by someone who owns the device. The phone actually isn't expected to go on sale until March, but this person was able to pick up the device from OLX before its actual launch. OLX is a version of Craigslist found outside the U.S.

According to GPUz, the Moto G5 Plus features a 5.5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The unit is powered by the Snapdragon 625 chipset carrying an octa-core 2GHz CPU and the Adreno 506 GPU. 4GB of RAM  is inside along with 32GB of native storage. A 13MP camera can be found on back with a 5MP front-facing selfie shooter. Keeping the lights on is a 3100mAh battery that regains power quickly thanks to Turbo Charging. We do expect to see a fingerprint scanner on this model.

The difference  between the Moto G5 and the G5 Plus is that the former will contain 3GB of RAM instead of the 4GB of RAM found inside the latter. The G5 could also have a different camera setup than what is on the Moto G5 Plus. Both phones could be unveiled at MWC next month.
