Duo's brother Google Allo may launch tomorrow or most probably in this week.

During Google I/O 2016 Google unveiled two new pure Google style apps - Allo and Duo. Allo and Duo both were supposed to replace the default hangouts app. During the release of Android 7.0 Nougat headlines were made in the tech industry as many tech Geeks found that in the code of Android 7 Allo and Duo Var set as the default messaging and video calling app respectively. Recently Google pushed out duo in the Play Store after long waiting for the Android fans but many of them are still unsatisfied, they want Allo too. Google Allo is currently available in the play Store as a pre register app.

A well-known leaker called @Evleaks on Twitter has recently tweeted about the expected date on which the Google will release Google Alo app for public after long beta testing period.

Later he adds 9/21

In the image below Google explains that Allo is a “smart messaging application” that is capable of learning about its users over time the more that they use it. This is of course no surprise as Google mentioned this already during their official announcement for Allo back at Google I/O. The intelligence is powered by Google Assistant, Google’s AI software that will also appear in things such as the Google Home smart speaker that is thought to be launching in the near future. These recent rumors and leaks aren’t the first bits of Allo that we have seen over the Summer either as sticker packs for the app have been previously leaked, and back on August 30th Google began listing Allo under the “new and updated apps” section within the Play Store, which seems to suggest that they have been preparing to launch the app for weeks now. With September 21st to be the likely launch date, the only thing seemingly left unknown is the time of day that the app will go live.
